| So, here's the scoop. My best friend and I drive both of our cars to the track, feeling confident that we will be driving home. We figured worst case if one breaks down we can deal with the tow truck hauling the car home. Well, the last day, last session, and almost last corner, I managed to spin a rod bearing. As I pulled off the track I started looking for my buddy. It took a while, then he came slowly by, obviously limping his car back to the pits. We both managed to break on the exact same corner and same lap. What are the chances of that happening? Fortunately for him it only cost him a new radiator, as his fan came up and put a big smiley in it! As for me, well, you've already seen how I solved my problem! |
